
Q: Does Indiana Counseling Association (INCA) offer internships?
A: INCA does not currently offer internships. However, we regularly promote employment opportunities, professional development programs, and leadership initiatives such as the Emerging Leaders Program, which may be of interest to students and new professionals.
A: INCA does not determine licensure requirements or provide licensure approval. INCA does offer NCE and NCMHCE exam preparation materials to support students and graduates preparing for licensure exams.
A: Yes! INCA provides live webinars, pre-recorded (home study) webinars, workshops and annual conference programming. Continuing education opportunities are available to both members and non-members, with discounted rates and additional benefits for INCA members. Find more information here!
A: Yes. INCA hosts an annual statewide conference that includes: Continuing education sessions, keynote speakers, networking opportunities, and awards and recognition. Volunteers are welcome to assist with conference planning and coordination. More information here!

A: Yes. Students may participate through: Campus Representative roles, committees and volunteer opportunities, and The Emerging Leaders Program. Leadership opportunities are designed to support professional identity development and advocacy engagement.
A: Yes. Counseling graduate students may submit dissertation research study requests at no cost. Submissions will be included the monthly newsletter, after approval.
