The 2024 ICA Annual Conference will be taking place October 18-19, 2024! The theme for this year's conference is Sustainability: Building a Counseling Career That Lasts! The Annual conference will be held in person in Indianapolis, Indiana at the William K. Nasser Simulation Center at Ascension St. Vincent.

The Indiana Counseling Association has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 2015. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Indiana Counseling Association is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs. This program is recognized as providing CE Clock Hours for Mental Health Counselors, Addiction Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Social Work licenses in Indiana and can be applied towards licenses under the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Board.

PLENARY SESSION SPEAKER BIOS:
Natasha Bailey is a proud U.S. Army Veteran, brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the field of counseling. She holds an Associate of Arts degree in Psychology, a Bachelor of Science in Addiction Counseling, and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy. Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. in Counseling Education and Supervision.
Natasha serves as the Clinical Program Director overseeing both inpatient and outpatient services, where she applies her extensive knowledge and skills to guide effective treatment strategies. As a Licensed Addiction Counseling Associate, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, and Certified Alcohol and Drug Consultant, Natasha is deeply committed to advancing the field of mental health and addiction counseling.
In addition to her clinical work, Natasha is an active member of professional organizations, including ACES, ACA, and AAMFT. She also holds significant leadership roles as a board member of ASERVIC, the State Division Chair, and the President of INASERVIC. Natasha’s diverse background and unwavering commitment to her profession make her a respected leader and advocate for ethical, spiritual, and community-centered practices in counseling.
Matthias Beier, MDiv, PhD, LMHC, DCMHS, is an Associate Professor of Pastoral Theology and Mental Health Counseling in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Christian Theological Seminary, Indianapolis, IN. He holds a doctorate in Psychology and Religion from Drew University, Madison, NJ, and completed his psychoanalytic training at the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis, New York City, NY. A licensed mental health counselor in Indiana, a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania, and a licensed psychoanalyst in the State of New York, Beier is a Diplomate of the American Clinical Mental Health Counselors Association. He serves as ASERVIC Director on the Board of the Indiana Counseling Association (ICA), Member-at-Large on the INASERVIC Board, and is President of the Indiana Society for Psychoanalytic Thought (ISPT). A sought-after keynote speaker, panelist, and commentator, Beier is the author of several books on topics related to spiritually integrated psychotherapy and social analysis, including A Violent God-Image (Bloomsbury), and numerous journal articles and book chapters on the subject.
