  • Campus Representative Positions: 2026-2027

The application window for Campus Representative positions is soon to open! We hope you take full advantage of the many perks of becoming a Campus Representative at your respective institutions across Indiana. The Indiana Counseling Association (INCA) is dedicated to working alongside counseling graduate students and counseling programs in Indiana to address concerns facing counselors-in-training and newly licensed professionals.

A shared objective between Campus Representatives and INCA Board members is to advocate for the needs/concerns of graduate students more effectively; communicate opportunities for continuing education, networking, and advocacy efforts; and gain additional knowledge into the changing landscape of counseling at a State and National level.

Responsibilities of the University Graduate Student (Campus) Representative:

  • Campus Representatives will be given a variety of resources and, it is our goal, to have at least one graduate student from each campus appointed to these positions. For additional context about the Indiana Counseling Association, Campus Representative responsibilities, and Campus Representative commitment information, please continue reading.

      • Each Campus Representative will attend biannual 1-hour meetings with the INCA Graduate Student Representative on the INCA Board of Directors to provide feedback about graduate student needs, programming, potential advocacy opportunities, as well as providing updates about their Campus Representative experience.
      • Each Campus Representative will communicate INCA continuing education, networking, and advocacy opportunities with their counseling department and professors.
Additional Perks of Becoming a University Graduate Student (Campus) Representative:
      • Each Campus Representative will receive a Certificate and recognition for their service at the 2026 INCA Annual Conference.
      • Commitment for this position runs between August 1st-July 1st of the following year. However, rolling applications are accepted, and Campus Representatives may start at different times, depending on when students apply.
