Hello from the Indiana Counseling Association!

I'm glad to welcome you to this community of professional counselors and graduate students in Indiana. We hope to serve you and address the needs and concerns that you are dealing with in your clinical practices, administrative and supervisory roles, and in academia and research capacities.

For this 2020-2021 fiscal year, we want to continue to address concerns on regional, state, and national levels, including licensure portability, telemental health, and insurance reimbursement. It is also important for us to address issues of racism and systemic oppression and to make efforts for advocacy within our state.

We have a lot on our agenda to try to tackle this fiscal year and we ask for your partnership and feedback for how we can best serve the needs in our practices and communities.

Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions, feedback, or ideas that you would like to see us pursue for counselors or graduate students, as well as for our clients and the counseling profession.

Blessings,

Carissa Lopez-Bockus, M.S.Ed., LMHC
