CONTINUING EDUCATION

WEBINARS

Whether it's for license renewal, career development, or to increase job opportunities, the need for continuing education is a very real demand every counseling professional faces. ICA works to make continuing education cost-efficient and easily accessible for your convenience.

You will earn one hour of NBCC approved Continuing Education for participating in a live webinar, unless otherwise specified.

Indiana Counseling Association has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 2015.

Note: Webinar participants should be aware that the live sessions they attend may be recorded. ICA retains the exclusive right to copy, distribute, publish, reproduce, and/or sell any webinar recorded by ICA. Recording by any attendee of any sounds or visual images, and use of any recording device or medium now known, or later developed, is prohibited at all ICA events unless prior written permission has been expressly granted by ICA.

LIVE WEBINARS

If you have registered for a live webinar, you will receive Zoom meeting details in the webinar confirmation email. The confirmation email will also include requirements for attendance and continuing education.

  1. Webinar participants are required to complete attendance during the webinar through instructions given in registration or provided by the webinar moderator during the live webinar. Attendees must be present for the entirety of the webinar and type their full name into the Zoom chat box to mark attendance. Since reported attendance is a requirement for receiving continuing education credit, if an attendee fails to provide adequate attendance, they will not receive any CE credit. Attendees are required to present during the entirety of the webinar session to receive CE credit.

  2. Attendees must complete a Webinar Evaluation following live attendance. The webinar evaluation link will be given to attendees by the webinar moderator at the end of the webinar presentation.

  3. After attending the webinar in its entirety, you will be sent a webinar evaluation that must be completed and submitted to the Executive Director (execdirector@indianacounseling.org) in order to receive your CE certificate. Your CE certificate should arrive within one week of submission of the webinar evaluation, via the email used in your event registration.
